You can't convince me that there isn't some intelligent design to this. Elite pass rushers don't go two full games without getting held, let alone 5, so for him to not get a holding call in 5 games (most of which were big wins where he had sacks) shows there's some sort of conscious or subconscious bias going on.

It’s bordering on unarguably a conscious attempt. It IS unarguably at least unconscious bias.

Going to be hilarious if Roseman upstages ole PT Barnum again.

He might be able to get more playing time with the Eagles and he might also see them as a better chance to get to the Superbowl. We might have no real chance honestly unless he really likes Gilmore or something.
Maybe he likes Johnny Blue and big boats?

That used to be the case. Perhaps 80 year old
Jerry finally lost his fastball with the 20 year old kids.

I think if left to his own devices, Jerry would override Goof if he felt strongly enough or more importantly "listened" to the person who yelled the loudest.

If we get him, fine.

If the Eagles get him, which is on brand for them, we will see.

The way I look at it, he will help either team's run defense. Both teams have gone through Rashaan Evans and know he is not going to be that guy for run defense. He would need to be out on pass defense with Dallas, he might be better than what the Eagles' have at LB right now.

He would make either team better situationally but in terms of being someone who moves the needle across the board, not exactly due to scheme fits with both defenses with the current personnel.

Apparently Broaddus was saying that Leonard has drop foot.

If that's true, I'm not sure I'd be interested after all. I don't need flashbacks.
That was the talk even a few days ago, but then today they said he passed the physical. So who knows... :shrug

I don’t think the guy comes in and makes a difference every game like you are saying. In the big picture though, if the guy could give you one or 2 big plays in a critical moment he’s worth the signing. This is an area I think the Cowboys always seem to come up short on in a big game for whatever reason.

If he's injured, I don't want him. The eagles can have him.

Honestly, I haven't been big on signing him. He's been falling off fast.

Just watched a replay of him whiffing on tackling Zeke this year. He may really just be done.

Really?? Hm. It’s hard to get a read on the guy….its about 50/50 of everything from the guys a difference maker to the guy is done. Drop foot, no drop foot. One thing is certain, passing a Cowboys physical doesn’t mean shit given Jerry’s history.

I don't know about drop foot but the guy had two back surgeries in close proximity. I think he was having issues with his lower legs as a result. I know the Colts were trying to nurse him back from that but when you start talking nerves in a back I don't think you can reliably predict the return of mobility.
