Bell has been quietly getting it done.
I just wonder if he can physically hold up through another half season. So far so good.Yeah other than being undersized I actually think he is an excellent LBer in this system.

Yeah no idea but I worry about size less than ever before. Especially with a guy like this who hits with a lot of thump. LVE isn't taking on blocks, shedding them and making plays. And he is 260 pounds.
That does lead itself to a big question after this season. If Quinn were to leave, are we equipped with the coach to keep the personnel intact within that scheme?Yea it's not much of a concern for me.
I think his lack of size will show up against top teams who want to run downhill power at us, like this week potentially, but overall I'm not too worried given how the game is moving more towards spread/spaced looks.
Ideally you'd have him as part of a rotation and not playing 90% of the snaps for 17 games a year, but once Overshown is back next year, along with potentially LVE and obviously Clark, I think we'll be fine there. Not to mention Thomas may even mix in a bit in that role too.
As long as Quinn is here I'm comfortable with Bell playing starter-level snaps as a LB though.

Meaning they weren’t considering the recent deadline?
That may just suggest we blew it trading the Amari for Eric Scott.I don't see why this is so outrageous. They did already use 5th and 6th round picks to make the team better, and now the 4th is gone for Lance. Are we supposed to trade away almost our entire draft?
The difference is that Philly traded a 4th for a guy who can help right now (Swift)I don't see why this is so outrageous. They did already use 5th and 6th round picks to make the team better, and now the 4th is gone for Lance. Are we supposed to trade away almost our entire draft?
Yeah, that dude ain’t seeing shit for snaps. That may just suggest we blew it trading the Amari for Eric Scott.

I'll never defend the Scott trade up, that seemed insane to me and from what I've seen I'm not sure he can play at all.Yeah, that dude ain’t seeing shit for snaps.
