LOL @ the Giants

Saw they have a decent out of Jones' contact after next year, so they may go into tank mode.
 
So, Jones is a bust, Barkley is likely gone next year, their WRs are meh, and the OL is complete shambles...

This is what I was referring to when I said the NFL has a problem... by the time they "fix" the offense, assuming that is even possible, the defense will be breaking down. They're not alone in that situation either... and IMO the talent coming out of college these days won't help. Back 15+ years ago "NFL" ready QB's were being drafted and allowed to "sit and learn", now, QB's who are not ready are being thrown to the wolves b/c of the resources spent. Then you have the O-linemen... even the top 15 prospects have been somewhat dubious as of late.

The NFL really needs to invest (money and talent) in these spring leagues, they might be the NFL's best lifeline.

Sorta chicken or egg with what came first, but piggybacking off your point, good offenses are so dependent on the few elite QBs, so QBs have demanded more and more of the salary cap, resulting in QB injuries decimating the team, resulting to NFL ruining the integrity of the game with rules to over-protect QBs.
 
Yup... spot on. It's also absurd that 1 player (just because the market "dictates") represents such a large "piece of the pie", especially if that player IS overly dependent on his supporting cast.

The NFL has built itself a house of cards.
 
This kind of presents a conundrum. Do you go ahead and kick the shit out of him, and send him back to the sideline limping, or take it easy and let him fuck the entire game up by himself?
 
Holy shit.

Tyrod Taylor had 8 yards passing today for the Giants. DeVito had -1. And with the sacks they took, they finished with negative yards passing for the game.

Has this ever happened before?

It must have been REALLY ugly for them. I think I saw -9 Yards? That is both awesome and crazy.

I mean the ref did kind of spot it at around :18 of the video.

They were very charitable regarding this one though, I'll say that. The ref might not even have touched it but he at least went through the motions.

The Giants looked offsides and they didn't call that either.
