I'm willing to bet that Jerry and Jimmy privately discussed this years ago and Jimmy said: "Thanks, but no thanks.", but neither of them will ever publicly admit it. Years after they're both gone, Stephen will do it.

I don’t really lose sleep over it either way, but I’d love to know exactly what metric Jerry uses to justify the slight in his warped mind.

The only success the dickhead ever had as an owner was due to Jimmy. At what point does that become a realization if ever?

33 years or whatever and he has a 4 year window with Jimmy’s fingerprints all over it to justify his wretched existence as an NFL owner.
