Meh, he has a bunch of team records but that's more a reflection of the nature of the game changing and revolving more around the passing game. To me the standard for the ROH should be higher, and historically it has been only elite players who are at least borderline HOF caliber, or who played important roles in making/winning Super Bowls.

Dak might break all of Romo's records, should he go in the ROH too?

I'd argue no unless he gets us to at least a Super Bowl appearance.

Correct.

Romo should probably be in the ROH. Not really because of his stats but because he led the team for about a decade following a 5 year period of QB purgatory. Romo stabilizing that position for a decade is a big deal. He was top 10 in the league (or better) for a long time.

But nobody else should be in until Jimmy is in.

Stubborn pride stands in Jimmy's way. And I hate the Jones for it. Its abhorrent.

I had a feeling he'd start doing shit like this in his last few years given how petty and arrogant he is. For lack of a better term I think he's going to try to whitewash his history with the Cowboys by adding marginal guys like Elliott and Romo (maybe Diggs) into the ROH, on top of obvious guys like Ware, Witten, Martin, Tyron and eventually Parsons.

It'll be his way of trying to cement his legacy with the Cowboys as a positive one before he dies because most fans in 2040 or whatever won't know how bullshit several of his ROH additions were compared to ones from before his era of ownership.

How is Romo marginal but Witten and Ware are obvious ROH picks? Romo did as much as either of them and had the same results.

no one can sell like Jerry
Yep. The fan base is a little restless this week after the poor performance vs Arizona. Add in the season long red zone struggles.....Jerry sensed it's time to pump the sunshine a bit.

Yeah me too.

I'm taking 2014 Murray over everything post-Emmitt.
Other than his fumbles. He fumbled a lot that year but it only really cost them the Green Bay divisional game where the Dez catch happened. If you remember Dallas was up 14-10 and and he broke out and look like he had a touchdown but fumbled the ball on our side and Green Bay got a field goal but. the team wasn’t the same after that.

Fumbles are just so killer from a RB.
