More like moving away from something worse. I just got sick of the politics. I took it for as long as I could and the did the irresponsible thing and told them to fuck off.

It was not wise, but for my mental health it was very wise. I took a beatdown for many many years. I just finally got fed up with it. And the big boss when I talked to him made it seem like I was disposable and could be easily replaced. Yeah, good luck with that.
 
To be honest, the straw that broke my back was when they kept fucking over my employees. I don't know how other people manage, but I manage from the ground up.
 
Dang man, do you have anything else lined up? Or any ideas what's next?

For now I'm going to do construction. I have some things going on in the background that I am hoping will lead me to consultant gigs. I have built many relationships in the transportation industry that I am hoping to use as that bridge.

It fucking sucks to say it, but it has made me hate that place to a degree. But, hell no, I'm dropping a RAIDER!!! any time it is appropriate. Because i am still a Red Raider.

People actually do this. Had a guy on LOA that expired three months ago just show up and tried to clock in and when that didn’t work, he got irate when he couldn‘t check out a lift or equipment. And yes, we got excellent site security and stuff.
