Jets Stuff…

Same here. You can see he's very talented, and it's not like he's failed for five or six years for three different teams. He's still young. Maybe he figures it out and you have something. Those others on that list you know can't play.

After looking at their roster, they have no one else at QB, and only Tim Boyle on the practice squad. They'll need to bring in someone I guess. I'd go with a vet like Ryan or flacco to sit behind Wilson and hopefully help him develop with the idea they'd only play in the case of injury.

I mean they have no choice but Wilson in the short term. But it's funny how a bust is suddenly getting spun as talented with a future in the NFL. Not talking about you guys but a few months ago Wilson was thrown aside as a massive bust.

Yeah to clarify, I don't think Wilson is going to be any good, and I think his attitude prior to this year has been at best questionable. There's just no better options. I don't think the needle moves much between Wilson or any of the other options.

NFL programmers might be panicking about all the primetime Jets games they have, but it's still NYC and that's going to mean ratings no matter what.

I would roll with Wilson and sink or swim. I don't think any of those guys are better options. Worst case scenario you get a better draft slot; it's most likely a lost season at this point no matter what they do.
I would too. That’s why I said if they went that route.

There’s ZERO reason to lose to a twice demoted shit QB like Wilson when the Cowboys are at home with a supposedly new offense for the new Dak and a D crowing about being the best in the NFL.
But I’m STILL nervous. Damn Cowboys.
It's pretty obvious that it's going to come down to how well they play the run. Jets have a couple of high end RBs who are capable of scoring from anywhere on the field.

As long as Quinn has these guys keyed in on controlling the Jets rushing attack, it seems highly unlikely that Wilson will beat the Cowboys with his arm.

I don't expect big numbers from our offense but I think they should be able to hit 24 points vs a tough Jets defense. That should be more than enough to beat a Zach Wilson led offense.

That's pretty much it right there.

If we stop the run, we win that game comfortably.

Yep, don’t get impatient but at the same time keep putting up points however we can.

End of the day, that team is not equipped to come back in the clutch unless you repeatedly turn the ball over

Different team from the one that scarred you.
Not scarred at all. I just know that I can’t count on them in general to win the big games. Haven’t done it in years, except for a washed up Tom Brady game.

I’m hoping maybe this year it’s different.

Big game for Hankins and Mazi.
Huge game. The NYJ were ripping off huge runs against what I thought was a pretty good Bills front.
I’m concerned that without a shutdown of the run game its going to another Purdy 49er-type situation where all Wilson has to do is convert 3rd and 3/ 3rd and 4 little passes to keep the drives going until they reach the end zone.
:panic

Luckily Wilson isn't nearly as proficient at those passes as Purdy. I also think the Jets are playing with some fire. Wilson isn't really built to take a beating. If that kid takes a few shots, he might not get back up. We need to focus on stopping the run but if Parsons, Sam Williams or whoever gets a square shot on Wilson, he might not recover.
