Ex-Cowboys WR Michael Irvin reached a settlement with Marriott in his $100M defamation lawsuit against the hotel chain. He is expected to appear on NFL Network on Sunday morning for the first time since a Feb. 5 hotel lobby encounter led to his suspension.

Good that it's behind him and I'm glad he's back on NFL Network but in a way I wish he wasn't going back because fuck them for not standing behind him.

Exactly. Even if they were still paying him while the investigation was going on, as soon as they yanked him off the air it signaled to the public that he was guilty.

It's a horseshit move that stains his reputation.

I read that it was a 7-figure settlement between Irvin and Marriot, but I'm more interested in what consequences if any the accuser faces.

Same here. A million bones isn't enough for Marriott to wipe the CEOs ass with. There need to be consequences that might make these companies think twice before they do stupid shit.
 
Figured booze would want to know they made on his other favorite rookie.
