I love the confidence but I just don't want it to teeter too far over into arrogance and cockiness.

I don know if it's just me, but it seems like when guys get too cocky that's when you see the most mistakes.

Not to mention that it hasn't worked out for us too well in recent years.

It's always better when this team is confident but feels like they have something to prove.

They got cocky about halfway through last year once Dak came back and struggled to close the season, then turned it on big time in the playoffs and played at an elite level.

So I'm not worried about anything except injuries basically.

I actually think Kearse is one of the few who can pull off sounding confident without being cocky. I don't feel he crosses that line to overconfidence.

We are looking at ~20 games (+ or -) with the ones at the end being the most important. It's a marathon. There isn't much said in training camp that matters much.

We just need to find the next TURPIN TIME!!!

Prime Tony Dorsett is the one I always wanted to see. By the time I was old enough to follow and appreciate football, he was on his last legs in Dallas and Herschel was taking over.
I kinda remember watching him but Randy White is the one I wish I could go back and watch.

Didn't realize you were such a kid... :unsure

I was little too but I do remember Tony D was my favorite by far. So great, and more relatable as a smaller fast RB than some huge bulldozer like an Earl Campbell.

I do like defensive swagger though.

Dream backfields typically don't work, and we were no exception. Tony was a fumbler early in his career but overcame it.
