I think that's right about the importance of Zeke to 2016 team, but we'll never know how good Henry might have been behind that Dallas OL. It's true that Henry didn't have a fast start in Tennessee while sharing carries with DeMarco Murray, but the Dallas OL was exceptional and Henry would have gotten plenty of carries in Dallas.

I wanted Ramsey and Henry that draft. As an SEC fan who saw plenty (too much) of Alabama, it was obvious that Henry was a monster talent. People said he was too big, ran too upright, and was too slow to the hole, but all I saw was SEC players bouncing off of him as he accelerated and then outran everyone else. He was awesome.

Although I wanted Henry, I wasn't disappointed when the pick was Zeke. Mostly, I was relieved that the Cowboys drafted an RB of any kind.

Let's remember that the front office failed to draft an RB in 2015 (a draft class that was said to be loaded with RB talent) despite having parted ways with DeMarco Murray. Their deviously clever plan was to center their running game on Darren McFadden and Joseph Randle. Franchise malpractice once again.
I don't see why that 2016 team couldn't have been about as good offensively with Henry running behind that all-timer OL.
Murray had just had a dominant season behind that line two years prior.
It's also possible that Ramsey makes the difference against GB's passing game in the playoffs.

The call itself was completely within the realm of the rule. The real issue is how often is it called. But by every definition of the rule, Butler screwed up. Or Garrett screwed up since the substitution package somehow wasn't executed properly.

You still didn't answer my question, what is the definition of a huddle.

I did not answer it because it really isn't all that relative to the penalty.

This was an organized activity in the hashes, he entered that area and communicated.

Was it nit-picky? Of course.

But it fits the definition of the rule. In theory it could have been even at the numbers let alone the hashes.

They just want to see there’s a semblance of leadership and control out there, not jumbled chaos. The QB has to actively wave people back to the sidelines and at least look like they are in control.

I'd be pretty shocked if he is better against the run than Dorance this soon, which is why I doubt he'll "start", but if he's developed to the point that he's able to put up 8+ sacks I expect him to be at least even in snaps with Dorance if not slightly higher.

It just won't be as a "starter", most of his snaps will likely come in clear passing situations.
