Just say no. I doubt he has much left anyway.

I think he is going to be the gem of this draft for us if we use him correctly. Those wheel routes. My god.

Some of the plays where he goes right up the gut remind me a little of what Elliott did in college.

Love that he can score from anywhere and the short yards he gets in and it isn’t because there is a huge hole to run through
He also had some moments where he willed his little shit self over the goal line for a score.

I don't think his vision is talked about enough. Elliott also had that vision and just lost it once he was too fat to do what his mind was telling him to do.

About the only thing that bothers me is that he seems to get run down a lot.

But if he does anything close to what he did against a high level of competition, I will take it and be very happy.

His vision is excellent, as well as his lateral agility and short area quickness, he just doesn't have the long speed which is fine considering he was a 6th rounder and will never be more than a timeshare back.

Exactly the play I was thinking about, boozie.

But looking at it again, Elliott just ran straight through the hole. Deuce flat-out embarrassed that safety.

Well, Elliott was never considered a guy who could fake someone out of their shorts. The interesting thing about Vaughn is his build. He is very linear and there is not a characteristic you can focus on a tackler. Even Elliott, you find the head, you are good. He is such a little shit, he's little everywhere.

I hate that I have these kind of expectations for the kid as the odds are all against him, but damn he is so fun to watch and you can't help but dream.

That is a true distinction. But then you can look at the play design. Take that Colts play. Gallup is your guy in man coverage against Gilmore. Really? His choices were minimal since the route employed by Lamb was diversional in nature.

The QB needs to be situationally aware, but shouldn’t the play caller do the same? Maybe that is what prompted Fat Mike to grab the play sheet.
This.
If Lamb is your #1 then he shouldn’t be running a diversion route, and Zeke shouldn’t be your guy out of the backfield. Fail on all levels.

he ... doesn't wear nose rings, does he?
Not that I can see, which is a good sign he is mentally stable...which is always a plus.

Does he have tattoos? I really have not seen that he has anything grotesque. Excessive body art is another sign of mental instability.

The best thing is having his father as a fellow employee, you best bet he will keep his shit in line.

His college coach didn't have to threaten to throw him off the team for being a drunk, either.

Now...replace what Elliott did with Deuce a handful of times a game...woof.

There are a few Tweets out there that break down every Prescott INT and on many of them, there was Elliott running a weak route that nobody gave two shits about.

If there are smart, situational exclusive plays for Deuce, I can't see how he does not become a threat in a very short period of time.

I look forward to a specific package with him entitled Little Shit.

Yeah, in retrospect, it was pretty obvious in retrospect Elliott was a bit of a flake from the get-go. If you take even the known character issues between him and Ramsey, yeah, we messed up. He is an unfortunate case because he was so exciting in his first few years.

It does bother me that our QB is besties with him to be honest though. It tells me there are some similarities in their makeup there that make me a bit uncomfortable.
