Van Hagar would have been much better if they wouldn't have changed their music style which was more on EVH, if I heard it right.

David Lee Roth has a crap ton of charisma and is a fantastic showman, but his singing voice is, and always was, mediocre. The music side of VH is so great it's carried DLR A la 2000 Trent Dilfer.
