Now that's actually pretty interesting.
I want to know who was #3.

I think we need a Simp breakdown, ala Smith. We have but I don't know specifically how we have leaned in. You can obviously take workout numbers and come to different conclusions. And it's sort of position specific for us. Like we don't seem to draft WR's based on workout numbers. Although I guess you could say we drafted Fehoko that way. But in general we aren't drafting what I'd call workout warriors. Not the guy with the freak forty or anything like that at least. But we may be putting more of a specific emphasis on length and explosiveness.
I don't think anyone thought Scott was drafted for his athleticism initially when we all saw the 4.7 forty. Although once you throw that number out suddenly he looks like a workout warrior. I'm not sure how good he was in college. I haven't watched enough of him to say. I've seen some stuff that looks awesome. And then I've seen some stuff that makes it look like he doesn't hustle. The fact that the kid ran a forty with an injured leg combined with the interview after he was drafted makes me think he loves football and will put the work in. We will see though. At least there appears to be talent to develop there.
This isn't Nahshon Wright who basically had terrible athletic scores but was stupid long and ran a decent forty. Wright had a worse 10 yard split than Schoonmaker for fucks sake. Worse verticle than Schoonmaker. All of which while being about 60-70 pounds lighter. He literally has no short area quickness or change of direction ability. Scott at least has something to work with.

I recall when they drafted Travis Frederick #1 and all the amateur draftnik wannabes screamed and hollered and moaned (me included) about what a horrible 1st round pick it was, as did the Greek Chorus draft gurus.
Turned out Frederick was a pretty goddamn good center -- 5 pro bowls -- till he got sick. So to paraphrase the old Nike Bo Jackson/Bo Diddley commercial, ain't nobody knows diddely till they start to play.
yep, its coming sooner than we think. They thinking about that contract already.
Yep we don’t want no 5th year option. Sign him long term next yearyep, its coming sooner than we think.
Wishful thinking. This dude is going back to his 2019 stuff on Edoga?
Yeah, but I still want to know why the guy went into the archives.Wishful thinking.
He’s cheap depth who has an outside shot to be better than his contract if he stays healthy and things start to click for him.
Low risk player who might get cut if some of the younger players and draftees show signs.

There is stuff like he did with Atlanta.Probably because there is no analysis of his two games last year.
Yeah, but I still want to know why the guy went into the archives.
