Felix Jones "hasn't displayed a lot of spring in his legs this training camp" and "is on the bubble to make [the Eagles'] roster" according to Dave Spadaro on the Eagles broadcast tonite.

Its amazing that a guy could go from having such electricity and burst to being completely washed up like he has been. He didn't even have the wear and tear.

His desire must be lacking.

Cool.

This means that when Murray gets hurt, we sign him back after he's on the street.

The CB/TE fetish always gets in the way the trenches. It is the Cowboy way.

I have to say, I am getting the same kind of feeling from Claiborne that I got from Felix Jones.
I don't get the lazy and pussy feeling I get from Felix Jones. Jones would sit out from a little bump or bruise and he got fat and lazy during the offseasons.

Claiborne on the other hand showed a desire last year to play through injury. I know he has been sitting out of camp but from the interview with him on the matter it didn't sound to me like he was happy not being on the field.

I don't think Ron Rivera is an effective head coach. That and Cam Newton is an immature me-only turd.

I do like their pass rushers and Luke Kuechly, who is what Sean Lee could be if he could stay healthy.

Yeah I have to admit I liked Rivera but he looks overmatched as a HC. One of those guys that talks a good game but it just doesn't show up on the field.

The Eagles seem to like Earl Wolff at safety a lot. Local media seems to think he'll win a starting job this year. He was a 5th round pick.

Zack Ertz looks pretty good too.

Meanwhile Wilcox and Escobar are struggling for us. Awesome.

It's pretty much what he was for us the past couple of years. It really is amazing that he fell off a cliff like that at his age.

That Aaron Mellette kid for the Ravens looks to be legit.

If a rookie can draw multiple PI penalties...he's got something.

Others are saying that isn't the case.

Weeden looks much better in this preseason than he looked last year.

That entire team looks better. I know being better than a dork like Pat Shurmur is no victory, but Chudzinski seems to have them excited and on the right path. Getting Horton as a DC was also a coup. That guy is outstanding.

Agreed, night and day in terms of accountability and toughness. Few backs started out as well as Felix Jones did only to systematically collapse and disappoint.

Black was definitely more slimming on Andy Reid.
