Yeah, but that is a stretch.I seriously think Romo should be considered for MVP. The running meme on Romo is that he's terrible in December (which he's not) but this year he has been nothing short of incredible. Especially if you consider our vaunted running game has been slowed down the last few games. Romo has picked up the pace and has played nearly flawless down the playoff stretch.
In the last three games, he's been 61 of 77 for 688 yards and 10 TD. With 0 INTs.
PIMP.
I agree. As far as the running game though, the fact that teams are selling out to try and stop our running game has opened up a lot for Romo. It's what we've been calling for all this time.I seriously think Romo should be considered for MVP. That is damn impressive in a stretch of games that Dallas had to have. Those numbers really are ridiculously efficient. He has been outstanding. In the last three games, he's been 61 of 77 for 688 yards and 10 TD. With 0 INTs.

Hopefully the end is near. Maybe they can have him committed soon or at least let him believe he's still in charge while others make the real decisions."Tony Romo's been in the foxhole, and when you have a guy that lives through that, blah blah blah..."
Damn. Jerry's losing his mind.
No shit. I have to give Merinelli all the props in the world. He only had scrubs to work with and whipped them in shape. That's a real coach right there who can get his players to respond to him the way this group has. He would be a good candidate for a HC gig somewhere.I can only remember 2 times in the last 20 years I've been wrong about this team. '07 and this year. '07 I at least thought we were a playoff team, just didn't expect a 12-1 start and home field. This year though, I was expecting a losing record with no major changes on defense. After the opening SF loss I was even more certain we'd have a 6 or 7 win season. To finish above .500 is hard to believe. An 11 or 12 win season is almost unreal.
Really shows what an OL and an NFL caliber competent OC and DC can do for you.
I honestly imagined 4-6 wins. I had this feeling in my gut after the sf game that the end of anything hopeful was here.I can only remember 2 times in the last 20 years I've been wrong about this team. '07 and this year. I was expecting another .500 finish at best. I'm basically stunned that we're sitting at 11 wins with a division title with one game left. Stunned but happy, at the very least. I said it earlier, this is the first time this team has exceeded my expectations since Parcells' first season.I can only remember 2 times in the last 20 years I've been wrong about this team.
