Yep, it's been so long since we had a Dline with this good of a pass rush.

Pay the man....pay Irving too, F it.

Hopefully Taco comes around and if you add a run-stuffing DT in the draft or FA, this line could be scary good for the next 4 or 5 years.

We’ve been missing that powerful DT for decades.

It really is comical how long we've gone without a run-stuffing DT.

It's like we're avoiding it on purpose.

The last time we had a guy who fit this description was Jason Ferguson, and that was back in 2006 and only because we had a coach at the time who prioritized a guy like this.

Since then, we haven't had a single DT that plugged the middle. That's a big reason why our run defenses have never been anything special in that time.

Why this team doesn't think a guy like Snacks would work beside a guy like Irvin mystifies me.

The free agent talent on the defensive side of the ball isn't great this year but there is one position that seems pretty deep and that's 1-T, run-stuffing DT's.

You got Poe, Bennie Logan, Corey Peters, Clinton McDonald, Shamar Stephen, DaQuan Jones and Star Lotulelei.

Any of them would be a welcome addition to the rotation and aside from Poe and maybe Logan they should be cost effective.

Sheldon Richardson will probably too expensive and may be redundant given that he's more of a pass-rusher than run-stuffer.
