Spoken like a true Christian. It depends on how many stories in the bible you think are meant to be literally true and how many are meant to be parables.

Not saying you're Christian, but that's exactly the response I would expect from one.
Ah, I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic, since my stance wasn't a fundamentalist one.Not saying you're Christian, but that's exactly the response I would expect from one.
Well, it's a big part of the conversation in today's world. But, this show hasn't really done that. It just argues the science side of it. You really should watch it if you haven't. There is a piece of it that touches on why science takes this stance, but it's not strong against creationists.Science is awe-inspiring to me, but it is disheartening and annoying that there can't even be a show about some of its most interesting bits without a particular element of self-important types being all, "Unnh, yeah, pulsars! Take THAT Christians!!"
Whatever.
I think he was talking about you, not NDT.Well, it's a big part of the conversation in today's world. But, this show hasn't really done that. It just argues the science side of it. Just watch it when you get a chance. If you watch it with an open mind (which I know you have) you will enjoy it.I work odd hours and don't have a dvr, so I will watch it when I can binge watch on Netflix or something. I don't mean Tyson himself or the show. I'm speaking more of the internet horde who, by virtue of having read part of The God Delusion, are all experts in naturalist philosophy.
I do hope the show gives due props to Father Georges Lemaitre for the big bang theory.
It did.The unsure smiley should have shown my intentions.
No kidding...hai guyz...you should watch this show. BTW, god does not exist. kthxbaiIt did.
But do we really have to have the same played out retarded argument in this thread, too?
It doesn't. I do not get why evolution disputes the idea there is a God.Well, it's a big part of the conversation in today's world. But, this show hasn't really done that. Adam and Eve and shit man. No way those guys came from apes, heathen. It doesn't. I do not get why evolution disputes the idea there is a God.
I know it is over, but Dexter got so bad towards the end that it still deserves to head that list.Shows that at one time were good, but now suck:
1) American Idol
2) Survivor
3) Hell's Kitchen
I like Chopped and if you havent tried it you should try Cutthroat Kitchen. I absolutely love the sabotages they go through. Worst Cooks in America is also worth some laughs. As an aside...Chopped is always good.
I like Worst Cooks...not a fan of Cutthroat. I actually like Guy's Grocery Games too...sadly.I like Chopped and if you havent tried it you should try Cutthroat Kitchen. I absolutely love the sabotages they go through. Worst Cooks in America is also worth some laughs.
Tried that one but didn't like it as much. I watch the Celebrity Challenge as well and Herschel Walker won this past season. That guy can cook..I like Worst Cooks...not a fan of Cutthroat. I actually like Guy's Grocery Games too...sadly.
