So we have had all of our home office Arkie muckity mucks around and everything out of their mouthes is about AI.

I had our DVP today suggest that all leaders should have our curated AI bot create emails for them and then simply cut and paste.

Holy fucking shit.

Been kind of slow but I had an interesting situation today. We had this dude get mad at a female associate for dropping a pallet and during the argument he placed a shipping label on her chest (she said) or shoulder (she said). I immediately suspended the dude so he will not be back in the building and probably fired.

Did you know that the female sends the po-po up here and the investigator is considering an assault charge. It seems a bit frivolous to me, but hey.

Assault is basically unwanted touching. In application it's ridiculous but a prosecutor can basically charge any disagreement as an assault. Hell even apprehension of physical harm is technically assault and dear lord have I seen prosecutors stretch that to ridiculous levels.

I'm no lawyer but that sounds like assault consummated by battery.

You know that's what the Energizer Bunny got arrested for, right?

Right?

I found out today I am getting laid off from the job I have held for the last ten years. I will get paid to do nothing for the next four weeks, but after that, sorry.

I have never been unemployed and I have no idea how to handle it.

Feels gay as shit even posting this on a forum, but I sure as shit am not putting it on Facebook where errbody can see.

I am in a pretty big state of shock.

Just looking for some tips, pointers and feedback if anyone else has been there. I never have.
I wish I knew what to tell you about these circumstances and it’s not because I haven’t experienced these circumstances because I have been in that position several times. While in banking I was in the upper management tier when ownership decided to to put their stock out to an investment group. In doing so the incoming group wanted to pick their own management group. My position was one that the incoming had brought from another institution thus forming Him to the job was a better comfort zone for them. There was several of these management changeout positions opening up but I didn’t wasn’t to wait them out so I ripped my abilities and went looking to governmental agencies to redirect my future. They were also where of the opening’s were most available. It was a Godsend decision and I was back in a solid position that I eventually retired from.

I still remember the the shock and awe feelings I experienced during that transition and it was not a pleasant time. Create a plan and begin with what you can do then what do you want to do. Somewhere in the crisis is the beginnings of an upcoming job and one that may take you where you don’t want to go but walk them all the way too the end until you land “the job”.
