Video shows the suspect walking down Third Avenue between 15th and 16th streets in Gramercy Park around 3:30 p.m. on June 12 when he suddenly pushes the woman and keeps walking.

On the other hand, if that dude was carrying, and went into that situation knowing there would likely be a conflict, I hope he did everything in his power to make sure the situation didn’t escalate.

To be 100% fair, he threw a woman down before they attacked him, but regardless they were beating him and he was trying to leave so the shooting was justified, IMO.

What happened 2-5 minutes before they started beating his ass? What did he say? Did he dare them to engage? Did he provoke?

Those are all things that need to be answered before you assume it was justified.

He did provoke, but then he tried to run away. What he did didn't call for a beat down, and they were yelling "I will kill you". He was a dumbass, but when it came down to getting beat down I felt he had every right to defend himself. It's not not like he was beating on someone when they attacked him. He pulled a woman to the ground when she was trying to block his movement.
