I don't think it's just inflation. Some of it obviously is. But the truth of the matter is no one has to get McDonalds. So people must think it's worth the money.

Or is it because they put some form of Crack in their food? So addicts will pay whatever they charge... Also possible

Their food and labor costs have risen. Fast food businesses have very narrow profit margins and having to pay their workers $17/hour makes it very challenging for franchisees to make any money. I won’t say that they don’t work hard, I owned a pizza business for about 10 years and had some very good employees but liberal cities insisting that they make a ‘livable’ wage is, ultimately, going to be their undoing. If you’re trying to support a family on a fast food job, you never had a fucking chance in the first place.

What I have also noticed about McDonalds is if you're paying full price you're an idiot. I don't eat McDonalds but my kids do. So I have the app. I get a free happy meal like every time. I don't spend much to feed 3 kids. It's a different kind of business model.

Like Khols if your wives shop there. You should never pay close to full price. There are always discounts, Khols Bucks and all kinds of random shit to reduce the bill a ton. No one should actually ever pay full priced unless they are elderly and confused.

I’d like to see a Christian church ask for equality. Give them a space for prayer, too. Then see what kind of shitstorm is stirred up when they’re denied.
