To me it's not controversial. He goes to native lands in places like Africa and ask that question and they laugh at him, because it's a stupid ass question to have to ask.

I mean grouping the two together really doesn't make much sense. Other than I'm guessing a lot of trans people are also really gay or lesbian. But one group deals with sexual preferences. The other group deals with gender identity. These are two very different things.
