You think radicalized lunatics like that are listening to some kumbaya video from an insurance CEO?

As for what I think he should say, how about something like, "We at Allstate condemn in the strongest terms this heinous act of murder and terrorism against innocent civilians, and back law enforcement in their attempts to stop future senseless acts of violence."
I can agree with this, absolutely
I don't know, something about the smug, self-assured look on that guy's face and the tone he used just rubbed me the wrong way.
Yes, that irritated me too.

I think it was a poorly worded and milquetoast statement.

I don't think he's calling terrorism "imperfections".
Yeah it felt like poor timing to put those two things together. I'm all for trying to bring people together at a time of crisis. The terrorists are the real enemy and not our neighbor sort of thing. But in this situation that neighbor was the terrorist and what he did was horrific. Loving your neighbor isn't preventing this type of shit.
