You should know as well as I do that the criminal justice system is a joke.

I don't really blame folks for getting upset. The syndrome where the rich white guy gets off and the poor black guy doesn't is pretty damn real.

It has problems but it’s far from a joke.

And in this case it is working as intended: a criminal has been charged with murder.

With the Rodney King riots they waited until the acquittal.

It's because cops are almost never held accountable for their brutality. The lesser shit they do never gets prosecuted because prosecutors need the cops on their side. The only time anything happens is when someone dies.
