It might be dumb but unfortunately you have to follow or this happens. The vast majority of people wont look out for others. Your best bet is to go early right when they open now. If you wait until the afternoon the restock is gone.
Well, thankfully, he works at a grocery store and knows when the trucks show up, so he will be hitting the store as soon as the truck gets there this morning and grabbing a couple of 4-packs before they even hit the floor.

My wife's grandparents own a gas station so luckily they will order us anything we need. They have saved TP and baby wipes for us just in case.

My wife's friend found a commissary that seems to have been forgotten. We were able to get quite a few things.

I had my son go to 5 different places yesterday and none of them had any toilet paper. So, for those of us that didn't panic and hoard, we can't even find a week's worth. In short, people are fucking stupid.
Wow! Things must have gotten much worse since a week ago. I was in one of the Sams Club stores in my area last Thursday for what I thought would be a routine shopping excursion and there was hyper activity with shoppers and stockers but I got everything I went for except paper towels. As a general rule I buy paper goods by the gross so I was pretty well stocked in that area.

Have you had any problems with other grocery items or meats? I have read that meats are like a gold rush but I’m good in that area also. I keep my freezers stocked.

We haven't had issues finding food. But, he just got back from going to two different stores this morning and found none. The grocery store he works at said they don't even have any at their warehouse and won't get any more until this weekend. He is headed to Costco now with fingers crossed.

I have some information from a front line physician currently in the far East who is working on the pandemic there and he wrote som really good guidelines. One such hint is to drink warm and hot liquids and avoid cold drinks and ice. Reason being is that even if you gave ingested the virus it goes to the esophagus before it goes to the lungs. Warm or hot drinks will flush the virus on through your intestinal track and you will rid yourself with a bowel movement,

Another test is to inhale and hold your breath for a minimum of 10 seconds. If you can do this without coughing it is a sign that the virus has not entered your lungs.

Yeah finally broke down and actually bought some groceries yesterday. The shelves were pretty bare. I was able to get almost everything but some of the brands I usually buy I had to settle for generic. The only thing we couldn't get was chicken breasts and supposedly those will be restocked today.

Just called my local Sam's club about their buy online and pick up service (which I've never used before) and the girl said they're getting trucks of stuff every night, but they sell out of toilet paper in the first few minutes of opening. She said yesterday there were 200 people in line, and this is in my small city. Good god, people!

She did say today there were only like 50, so maybe it's improving. Especially since there's a limit on how much you can buy at one time.

The other day I did find paper towels at a regional hardware store, of all places. They're overpriced and the quality sucks, but at least I was able to get some.

The people who bought 12 multi-packs of Charmin should return some if they have a conscience.

You have to love that we are doing all this stuff for social distancing and yet 200 people are congregating for fucking toilet paper.

Better: When these idiots realize that they have a 36 month supply that they don't feel like having taking up storage space in their garage, I hope the store tells them to F off when they try to return it.
