what did she say?
I guess she deleted the tweet. She said “But, like, it’s a virus, I get it, like, I respect it. But at the same time, like, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible, but, like….inevitable???

Three NJ Nets players, including Kevin Durant, don’t have any symptoms but are positive. WTF
—-
"Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine," Durant told The Athletic, adding that he is feeling fine and not showing any symptoms. "We're going to get through this."

The Nets did not identify any players and said Tuesday that of the four players, only one is exhibiting symptoms. All four are isolated and are undergoing medical care from team physicians, the Nets said in a statement.

Yeah when cities can just tell everyone that they have to shut down their business it makes you wonder how far out of control government will get. It's kind of scary when you think about that side of it.
In WW2 people made a lot worse sacrifices than we are being called upon to make. If you aren't infected, this shit could save your life or, more likely, save your Father or Mother's life.

This is a situation where government overreach is warranted. I just wish they had been quicker and gotten the testing up and running much, much faster.

I actually thought about buying a gun. My panic level ain't there yet. Of course, by the time it will be, they'll probably all be sold out.

The rush is already on, ammo prices are on the rise and noticing a few sellers out of stock already. FYI pawn shops probably won't be hit as hard yet

Most of my neighbors have them so perhaps I'll have some herd immunity.

Is anyone old enough to remember or know when the common flu went from a pandemic to something that kills large amounts of people every year and the attitude changed from freaking out to just dealing with the fact that a lot of people will die from the flu every year?

I wasn't alive during WWII and have no idea what it was like. I fully take this virus seriously. I just disagree with government being able to claim emergency and do whatever they want. That's a very scary fact. It's too much power with no real checks or balances.

And they don't have a great record of rescinding those emergency powers once it's over

There is never a situation where government overreach is warranted. Never ever never. You give up your liberties and the government will never give them back. Remember how the income tax was just to pay for World War I? Yeah, me too.

Never count on your neighbors. In a time of crisis you can bet they will lock that front door... to everyone.
