Whoa, I've driven by there many times. Was only 10 or so miles from there yesterday.
I guess it didn't like Family Dollar.
Sulphur Oklahoma took a big hit also Jimmy Houston lives real close to there and even had some property damageI guess it didn't like Family Dollar.
I hope you're safe, brother. There apparently is an anticyclonic tornado less than 20 miles north of me moving south-southeast. Two super-rare things at once.
And there's another cyclonic (normal) tornado almost right next to it. Crazy.
Thanks, man. It never got really close to me.I hope you're safe, brother.
Just glad you're good, man. Tornadoes are scary shit. Thanks, man. It never got really close to me.
That was an amazing phenomenon that I think will be talked about for a while, though. Anticyclonic tornadoes are rare enough, but they're usually very weak. This one had a debris ball big enough to show on radar. And chances of tornadoes were thought to be very low yesterday, but at least three formed from that one storm that turned around and went south. Very strange night.
Gotta be global warming.Just to add to the weird night I was talking about...
Meteorologists awed by extremely rare type of tornado and weird radar sights
Powerful storms roared across parts of southern Oklahoma Tuesday night and produced dangerous and unusual tornadoes, including one incredibly rare type.www.yahoo.com
I did see that in the comments.Gotta be global warming.
Those people are either certifiable or just extremely gullible.I did see that in the comments.
Terrifying.
It did seem like a tense situation.Terrifying.
So sad. I would say you moved to the wrong state but we have had our fair of tornadoes this year in Texas too.Friends of ours who trained my racehorse a few years ago decided to move to Claremore OK not long after we did.
They stay at the racetrack in a giant 5th wheel trailer. They lost their home and both trucks were totaled from the tornados last night.
Crazy.
