You are correct that Pro Bowls don’t mean as much but I’m not sure he didn’t still warrant it.

Oh, I'm not saying he's not a pro bowl/all pro caliber player. Or that he even had a bad year last year. But to use "he made the pro bowl" as criteria for if a player is good or not is pretty low on the talent totem pole. I guess my saying 'from what he done last year' makes it sound that way, but it wasn't my intent. I was only shitting on the pro bowl, not Thomas.

If he didn't have the black cloud of the way he left his two teams hanging over his head, I would be all over trying to get him here.

What is there to consider? You've seen where you are in practice this point as well as you are gonna be able. You either think Clinton Dix can do it or one of the young guys can step up. You should be smart enough to realize that if Darian Thompson is the leader for the position in practice then you probably either aren't good enough there or you are being too conservative with Donovan Wilson.

If that's the reality then you need to at least fly ET in and have a chat.

Not for me. I'm for signing the talent, I'm against signing the problem child.

If he thinks somebody would be bad for the locker room, I don't see any problem with that. If he thinks we can overcome any past problems Thomas has had, and he will be a fit here, that's fine too. I'm not going to pretend I know what the team is thinking on the subject.
