I wonder if he's a "what if we can't trade down and the guys we like are all taken" option.

I really think we've used enough on OL lately. Please help the defense and RB.

Free agency was defensive heavy. On a positive note we aren't seeing a bunch of the high pick corners. So corner may be a day three thing. Revel is the exception so far and I really think we wanted to look at the knee.

I sort of agree on the Oline but I also can justify it. A badass Oline makes other things work so well. If you take an Olineman though you can't just get an ok player. You better find a Tyler Smith level badass.

I’d prefer one of the top two WRs in the first, but would be happy with Membou.

Membou would be a great pick at 12. Larry Allen type OL prospect. Will probably be an elite guard with ability to kick out to tackle.

Does he really have that Allen temperament? Having 3 bullies on the interior I would understand.

Not sure about temperament, but the guy is a great athlete and strong. Some talk about leaving him at OT despite only being 6’3

My wish list for our first round pick, in no particular order. Just come away with one of them and I'm good.

Matthew Golden
Tetairoa McMillan
Armand Membou
Will Campbell
Mason Graham
Ashton Jeanty*
Jalon Walker*

*not preferred, but if the above mentioned are gone and no trade down available, I still like the player and would be happy at that spot.

One (or more) of these guys will be there for us. When you include Carter, Hunter, Ward, Sanders and the inevitable holy shit pick(s), that is 12.

And if we are able to trade down, there are a handful of other WRs, RBs, Dlinemen, CBs that would fall into consideration.

Not to nit pick but he is 6'4" 332 pounds. Moves great and is a really good player. The only concern I've really heard and understood was his temperament. He isn't one of these, I'm going to bury you guys even though he has the ability.

33"1/2 arms are long enough to play OT although not super long.

Right, another OL, even a really good one, can't make a Tolbert or Mazi become good players.

In the end, I'm fine with almost anyone as long as they're a good enough player. If Membou is another Zack Martin, obviously that's great. But my preference is to put some faith in Klayton Adams making a pretty good OL with less than top talent like he did in AZ and fix other areas.

This doesn't feel like an "o-lineman in the first" year.

Yeah, this is true. I'm worried that we will take a Mykel Williams who I think is a very limited player currently, hoping we can unlock some of the potential. That scares me honestly. Give me a Membou who starts on the Oline from day one over that any day. You want to take a guy with potential that you're hoping to unlock wait until the third round or later.

I don't think we go DT at 12 frankly either. Not that I'd have a problem with it at all. But other than Graham making a shocking fall and being too good to be true, I just don't think we are serious about DT in the first. I do think we are serious about it later.

I think this is probably right but Eberflus has seemed to always prefer taller DT's (DeForest Buckner with Indy, Gervon Dexter with the Bears) and I think Harmon fits that mold the best.

I highly doubt we take him but he would fit the profile Eberflus has gone after in terms of size and length.

You talking Harmon, that's speaking my language. But for whatever reason he doesn't seem to be in the running for us or that high in the first in general.

Hopefully it won't ever be a kicker in the first year like the Raiders 2000 in the midst of severe Al Davis decline.

They really have a tight lid on the 30 visits this year, I think the deadline is sometime next week and we only have about half of the 30.

Yeah it definitely has felt slower and more broken up then in previous years.
