Don't be dissing the Bobcats now.Everyone from that school should be disqualified just for that ridiculous field.
I mean Eastern Washington of course.![]()
Goof's dad knows how to make connections
I at least see the vision drafting a dude like that. Just dominate the line of scrimmage, draft a good RB to pound the rock behind it and just control the game.
Booker is a quality 10 year OL starter but he has some athletic limitations that make him a non-option unless there is a trade down.I at least see the vision drafting a dude like that. Just dominate the line of scrimmage, draft a good RB to pound the rock behind it and just control the game.
Yeah 12 for a guard is where you expect special. I don't think Booker is special enough to justify it. And honestly I like Donovan Jackson almost as much. And in the end you have no play makers outside of Lamb. Granted I believe we will get a RB but you're probably not getting a great weapon outside of that, outside of the first round, of this draft.Booker is a quality 10 year OL starter but he has some athletic limitations that make him a non-option unless there is a trade down.
Lookit, I get it that Schottenheimer's kid wants to run the ball and all, but let's be a little less gung ho about it.
We could march out our OL with no other significant additions and I believe the improved coaching alone makes us better.
I'd consider Booker, Zabel and even Jackson after a trade down, although I'd rather go with Harmon, Egbuka, Grant, etc.Yeah 12 for a guard is where you expect special. Jackson in the second/third to scratch the OL itch would be acceptable.Yeah 12 for a guard is where you expect special. I don't think Booker is special enough to justify it. And honestly I like Donovan Jackson almost as much.
No chance Jackson is there in the 3rd, outside shot at the 2nd and if he's there I'm running to the podium.Jackson in the second/third to scratch the OL itch would be acceptable.
He filled in damn well for Simmons and gives you that oh so valuable position flex.
Yeah I have him sort of pegged in the second. This interior Oline class is just too thin for a guy like that to fall to the third. No chance Jackson is there in the 3rd, outside shot at the 2nd and if he's there I'm running to the podium.
Just feels like a weird pick. LTs are extremely valuable but Guyton and Steele are OT only guys. If Simmons is your pick, one of those three sits on the bench. Unless we think Simmons can play guard.
This coming from the same guy who insisted for days that Schottenheimer would not be the HC damn near up until the day it was announced?
Yeah, if he gets many more that wrong he's needs to re-think his sources. This coming from the same guy who insisted for days that Schottenheimer would not be the HC damn near up until the day it was announced?
Yea he can miss me with his fake insider bullshit.
I think he is a guy the team feeds bullshit to. I have no other explanation.Yeah, if he gets many more that wrong he's needs to re-think his sources.
Reminds me of the joke that if you look around the poker table and don't see the sucker... then you're the sucker.
