That's what I said I was doing and got blasted by many here for being "noble".
I've never criticized anyone for saying they couldn't stomach bringing themselves to vote for Trump.

I might not agree with that decision ultimately but I'd understand it at least.

What's not understandable is the claim that he's worse than Democrats. No, he isn't. In fact he's way better than them.

Says the guy who says, "Lick my taint, cocksucker"... and I've refrained from the childish names in order to not offend you.
I've said this to you? In a political discussion? Curious to what that was in response to. I don't deny ever saying it, I know I have. But in response to a general post, not somebody in particular. Not saying I didn't, but again... Curious to what it was in response to.

Probably more due to your employer than anything Private Bone Spurs has done. Get ready though.
Probably, huh? Just gonna make more unsubstantiated guess and go from there? Typical, Irv. You said I don't have the money in my paycheck I thought I would. I actually do, which is more than I had 6 months ago. And I do draw a government paycheck. Now, whether or not that is directly tied to whatever it is your "private bone spurs" has done, I don't really give a damn. The fact is, I am making more today than I did 6 months ago. Sorry this shot in the dark of yours didn't work out for you.

You really think I'm going to take my time to go back through your posts? Ooookay.
But you apparently remember when I defend him "at every turn" with out going back through posts. How... convenient.

That's what I said I was doing and got blasted by many here for being "noble".
I didn't make any claims as to why I didn't vote, as you have numerous times. Should I still be blasted for being "noble"?

Noticed you left out the part where you mentioned the price of eggs. Gas. Him being my economic savior. The Chinese. You know... since you claimed those were my beliefs. That I -heh- sing his praises.

That's the kicker for me. They were going to take over the U.S. government without firing a single shot?
The factual, undeniable truth was that they were there to pressure elected officials into taking what they (wrongfully) believed was a legal course of action to challenge the election results which they (also wrongfully or at least unprovably) believed were fraudulent.

The pressure we are talking about was not force. They didn't have arms (at large - the one idiot who did plant pipe bombs should be prosecuted fully). They were not there to take over the building and occupy it permanently. They were not actually going to lynch Mike Pence.

They wanted to find the chamber and protest and be unruly and hopefully shout loud enough to get their way.

That's not insurrection. It's more like trespassing. Again, they THOUGHT that Pence had a legal option that he was choosing not to exercise and they wanted to pressure him into exercising it. Protesting to get elected officials to change their course of action is not illegal. If you use force or violence to do that, then we can talk, but that's not what happened. They did not have that intent at all, but even if they did, I can still winningly make the argument that because NONE OF THE ELECTED OFFICIALS ENCOUNTERED THE PROTESTORS that it was LEGAL IMPOSSIBILITY for them to commit insurrection. The "violence," that occurred was merely in accessing the building, and even that was very, very minor in comparison to the BLM riots of the prior year. Violence in accessing a property is TRESPASS.

Yes there were some scuffles in which a few people were injured on both sides as happens during most all protests. One protestor was actually shot and killed by an over-eager officer who was in no way in any physical danger, but, you know, I say to that protestor, play stupid games win stupid prizes.

But not a single capital police officer was seriously injured or killed, the one who committed suicide did so because he had mental health issues, and by and large the "rioters," strolled around taking pictures and basically having no idea what to do next once they gained access to the buidling because they were nerdy, dorky, poser granola "Don't Tread On Me" flag bearing white folks from rural New Hampshire, who, like your grandma trying to be hip and dance to "modern," music, thought it was the "in" thing to be doing at the moment but in reality had no clue what they were doing.

They got swept up in the moment and assuredly that carries some criminal liability for some of them.

But it's not insurrection or treason. That charge is completely bogus and anyone (@Foobio included) charging that it's merited is a lying douchebag.

That list of lying douchebags includes numerous US Attorneys and Judges who are in the pocket of the Democratic party so thoroughly that they have abdicated their responsibility to their office and their Constitution and need to be removed from their posts as well.

As it was happening, I knew that they would find a way to sensationalize it.

No shit. It's like drapes, the next guy can take them down.

If you're focused on this stuff, you just hate him. It means nothing substantially at all.
