These people so badly want to pretend like they are an elite attorney questioning someone on the stand and yet have no idea what they are doing. When they don't get the answer they want or think they will get they just start spinning and go off the deep end.

Exactly right. These idiots who are too dumb (mostly) to go to law school so they become congressmen, all want to pretend they are cross examining a witness on the stand and think they get their gotcha moment. It’s like what high schoolers think a cross exam is like. It’s so juvenile, it’s pathetic. Republicans too of course.
