Second, it didn't go into U.S. Grant's (who signed to authorize the acceptance on his final day in office) back yard after he left office.
I mean if it goes to the Presidential Library isn't that run by a government agency. I'm still confused as how this is somehow a personal gift to Trump.

I mean it sounds like one government giving another government a gift. I have no idea what authority a President has to keep a government airplane after their term is done. That's where I'm a bit confused on this whole outrage.

That's exactly what it is. Now I hope he keeps it because who gives af?

The same people who don't give a shit about the waste and fraud doge has been finding are suddenly outraged by this. Funny how that works.
Fraud? That's a crime. Who's been charged? Otherwise, it's nothing but a bunch of wind.

Waste? Of course there is... but you don't go around chopping heads off indiscriminately in the name of saving money, especially when you have to attempt to hire those people back a few days/weeks later.

So you don't think a crime happens unless a person is charged?
I didn't say that.

My point is, DOGE and Musk alleged that they had found massive amounts of fraud. Yet we have yet to see one name attached to anything. As tuned in to optics as this administration is, you'd think they would have plastered someone all over the news with their allegations, yet, there's nothing.

I have no problem with this, but imagine, if you will, any President with a (D) beside his name meeting with the leader of Syria, a "former" terrorist whom the US had a 10 million bounty on his head AND lifting all sanctions on his country. :rofl

I will say in theory the no tax on tips sounds good. But in practice it's almost as hard to enforce as taxing tips is.

The other two options seem to be far more easily enforceable. And frankly I fully support. Someone wants to work extra long hours in hopes to get ahead in life they shouldn't get fucked for that. And taxing Social Security seems really dumb to me too. So you're going to tax me, take money out of my wages, call it social security instead of what it is, a tax, and then you're going to tax me for using the program later?

Anyway, back to tips. The challenge with that is everyone would just try to make minimum wage and call everything else a tip. I'm an attorney, could I just claim my clients were giving me a tip? You could literally accomplish this in most industries. Or are we going to just say certain jobs are allowed to get tips? Because then we are just picking and choosing certain industries and benefiting them and not others. The service industry is massive too. Suddenly the lawn care guy is going to call 90% of what you paid a tip. Anyway, I don't like the concept of forcing as many people as possible into a minimum wage scenario and calling all other money tips. And honestly most cash tips are never reported anyway.

Anyone talking about the latest BS pharmaceutical EO that was signed? Not worth the paper it is written on once it goes to court.

BUT, certain representatives offered to write the EO as a bill, word for word so it would be law if passed. It could also be written into the Big Beautiful Tax Bill to go through reconciliation.

I'm guessing nothing will ever come of this. Too many owned pieces of dogshit representing real Americans.

He's not a "former" terrorist... he's STILL designated as a terrorist by the US, and his group is still designated as a terror group by the UN.

Maybe, just maybe, this promise he made during his campaign that many of his supporters latched onto will soon be realized as nothing but hot air, just like many of the other promises he made. He knew he never had any plans to implement 99% of the shit he shoveled out there to his adoring masses.
