There’s truth to that 100% but I’d rather focus on what could have helped. That’s how accountability works. There is plenty of material to work with on Trump’s side so I feel like that’s what the focus should be.

He was a bad President to have at the time. His rude behavior and lack of a filter made an impression and a big segment of our society took that as a blessing to act the same way. He also took glee at baiting far left responses and basically helped divide the country.

I only care that he was able to do the job, and prior to covid, things were humming right along. Trump is gone. Let him go. There is no more "could have helped". We have to move forward. Desantis, Crenshaw, or Haley is it for me. Outside of those 3, I don't have much hope.
