Russia has been negotiating and have been in political talks with the Taliban for about a year now because even they knew the Taliban would likely control a majority if not all of Afghanistan.

Cool, hopefully they negotiate them staying the fuck in Afghan.

This is a problem.

Yep. Intelligence is compartmentalized and obviously those people at the top see a lot more than I see. But from my perspective a lot of what General Officers and Presidents feed to the public regarding military operations doesn't match the limited information that I have.

But I do understand their reasoning. I think they do it for morale of the country and families back home.

I understand why some information is confidential and what is not, but when you have had military personnel in a place for 20 years, some transparency might be needed.

Texas, Arizona, and California should be welcoming in some pretty dangerous “asylum seekers” here pretty soon.
