It didn’t stop them from playing Andre Gurode at center when he was snapping all over the place.Honestly, that's the one thing that's going to hold the coaches back from starting him. If he can't consistently shotgun snap well they won't play him. It's not worth a bad snap a game to have a better blocking center. Coaches just won't do it. Beebee needs time to get comfortable where it's just automatic.
It's weird how some guys can jump to center and snapping isn't even a challenge. And other guys no matter how hard they try just can't seem to get it.It didn’t stop them from playing Andre Gurode at center when he was snapping all over the place.
Gurode eventually got over the yips. I’d bet Cooper will too. It's weird how some guys can jump to center and snapping isn't even a challenge. And other guys no matter how hard they try just can't seem to get it.
I think he will too. It's really early. And I've seen some really good shotgun snaps from him too. It's just reps that will help to make it second nature. Basically get him to the point that he isn't thinking about the snap.Gurode eventually got over the yips. I’d bet Cooper will too.
Pretty sure Gurode played it at Colorado early on, too, so he had more experience there than Beebe.Gurode eventually got over the yips. I’d bet Cooper will too.
He just looks like a turd. Hopefully he is a gamer or something.
If he can't make it as a rotational guy this year, with them looking for any depth they can find on the edge, it might be time to write him off.
I mean one rep at practice doesn't mean much but against Josh Ball that rep is really unimpressive. Ball doesn't even look good doing it.If he can't make it as a rotational guy this year, with them looking for any depth they can find on the edge, it might be time to write him off.
You can blame Camo Hat. He tried the Polynesian thing (no offense to the Pacific Islanders, okay?) with Bradlee Anai and now this.I mean one rep at practice doesn't mean much but against Josh Ball that rep is really unimpressive. Ball doesn't even look good doing it.
His problem was the three technique, DE fetish. The one real three tech DT he drafted has worked out. Aka Osa. But then he kept going to this well of guys like Golston and Fehoko trying to make bigger DEs into 3 techs and they suck. No idea why we can't just draft normal DTs. And stick with normal DEs.You can blame Camo Hat. He tried the Polynesian thing (no offense to the Pacific Islanders, okay?) with Bradlee Anai and now this.
It was a Marinelli thing too so there's probably some carry over there. His problem was the three technique, DE fetish. The one real three tech DT he drafted has worked out. Aka Osa. At least Kneeland is going to be a real DE. And not some bounce between project for 3 tech. You know that's what we would have done with him a year or two ago.
I feel like Kneeland has been really focused at DE. But I'm sure they have moved him around a little in sub packages. It was a Marinelli thing too so there's probably some carry over there.
And Zimmer has bounced Kneeland inside a few times based on what I read but I doubt it'll be for significant snaps.
