I saw a play where he was playing WR and the safety picked the ball off. I don't know that Deuce is really that great at running routes or scaring people with them.

Yep, and obviously the height is a much much bigger (pun completely intended) issue at WR.

I think he has a possibility of doing something as a pass catcher, but specifically out of the backfield.

I can't imagine him lining up against a CB on the line and it going consistently well.

They are trying everything possible to make him remotely useful.

I hope something works out but I doubt it.
Yeah, I mean I get the hope is that you can use him like Faulk back in the day. Not as an actual WR but a RB who you can motion out of the backfield and get lined up on a LBer or safety. The problem is, Deuce is 5'5", sort of limits your ability as a WR. It's why you don't see any WR's that height do anything in the NFL. It's very limiting when you're trying to catch passes.

Damn. Even Hostile himself thinks No C is a homer.

Even if he didn't see the LB lurking, that pass was at least two yards behind the TE. Ugh.

the random Fehoko mention.
Congrats he beat up on some little dude. Props dude, you beat a guy who weighs 196 pounds by plowing into him. Not exactly something to get excited about. They are just trying to figure out how to block up these new kick rules.

I get trying to force the ball a little in practice. You want to see how far you can push things. It's why I don't panic if a guy throws a deep ball in single coverage that gets picked off in practice. It's practice.

But this throw? Like it was bad in so many ways. He wasn't forcing the ball, he didn't even see the defender. Hell he threw the ball better to the defender than it would have been to the receiver if the defender wasn't there. Just so much bad about that throw. And the worst part is he isn't even seeing defenders on the field when he is making these throws.

It doesn't look good. Hope for improvement but some guys just can't see a defense. I don't see a way around that.
