In a vacuum I'm enthused, I mean who doesn't want our draft picks to work out and especially at a top 3-4 most important position?

But in the grand scheme it doesn't change much beyond slightly increasing our chances of getting lucky one year and having everything fall exactly perfectly for us.
I know, I'm pessimistic like everyone else.

But I'm secretly rooting for a bunch of young players to overperform and for us to surprise people. That would be pretty cool.

Speak for yourself.

I am terrified that Guyton does well because that means yet another guy we have to pay soon.

Yeah I mean if we hit on Guyton, Kneeland, Liufau, and Carson (Those are the ones getting glowing reports) that would be awesome. I'm still not sure it makes enough of a difference this season. And with Parsons, Dak and Lamb on the verge of being pissed off or leaving it might not mean much long term either.

And that of course is assuming that we basically hit it out of the ball park with this draft. We are a long way away from having any idea if that's true. Hell they just put pads on today.

Everytime I want to sort of get my hopes up I remember our RB situation and just how utterly fucked we are at that position.

Some blue check Cowboys homer was on Twitter trying to claim that the reason interest and attendance in Cowboys training camp is down is because the NFL moved the Rams and Chargers to LA.

I'm pretty sure LA fans don't give a damn about the Chargers. The Rams won the Super Bowl and there were still tons of excited Cowboys fans heading into the 2022 season. Also, training camp is free and open to the public, so you can't even point to economic reasons.

This is definitely different. Fans are finally getting fed up.
