Marketing first, then maybe DEI "credit" (though who's watching out for this across the NFL I have no idea), and a distant third... he didn't take up a roster spot yet still had an outside shot at providing depth

Most of the International players wash out. A couple of the Polynesians have worked out like Mailata. But there are so many of them, do they even count? Mexicans are rare in major college football unless they are a kicker.

As an aside an adult paternity case just feels so weird to me. What a giant waste of time. Like you're a grown adult, even if Jerry's sperm created you, what does it matter at this point? You're not getting added to the family portrait. Obviously there must be a financial component.
