He'd always have to start from the backfield or in motion. If he lined up from a fixed spot wide, the smallest DB in the league would stuff him. Be lucky if ever got off the LOS.
He is so quick, he could get off the press. Especially against a taller corner trying to reach down that far. Leverage would be in his favor. But the corner could play it knowing he can't really break over the middle because he is too short. Plus the slot is off the line usually.

I was watching a UFL game a couple of weeks ago (San Antonio Brahmas v Arlington Renegades) and one of the Brahmas' RB's (Anthony McFarland), who is about the same size as Deuce, made some pretty spectacular plays when used as you suggested:

@ 00:30, 06:19, 09:21 - And not so much @ 5:30

* Yes I realize this is the UFL and the Renegades do not have an NFL quality defense.

I just recall the wasted passes to Elliott and I do not think our offense is capable of that level of creativity. We will get more nose rings.

This is kind of random, but reading around and watching various vids, I wonder if Flournoy might be a decent prospect.

I'm the king of not trusting offseason hype, but there have been enough little positive comments about him that maybe there's something there. I know nothing about his smarts or his hands or his grasp of the nuances of the position, but it sounds like he might at least be pretty good physically.

Hype is king this time of year.

The pick is a home run if he can challenge for Brooks’ spot.

I can affirmatively say they are right.

And not one extension done yet. They just keep getting more and more expensive.
You just don't understand pie leafs theory yet.
