Pretty predictable.
Whoa.John Fox out as Broncos Head Coach, just as Glazer said.
I'd take him over Garrett.Whoa.
I guess they don't want to lose Adam Gase.
Hell, if Iam the Jets or Bears etc I hire him.
He is better than most retreads. Two SBs is not horrible.
So basically just like Garrett?I think Fox is terrible, players seem to like him but strategically he doesn't seem to give you any advantage. Manning carried them these last 3 years.
10 year contracts for a head coach are unheard of in today's NFL.Fox goes to the SB followed by a top 2 seed and he's gone. Garrett goes 8-8, 8-8, 8-8 and 12-4 (mainly due to finally having 2 quality coordinators) with a divisional loss and we'll probably lock him up for another 10 years.
I obviously wasn't serious about the 10 year part, but point is we will look to lock Garrett up despite the fact we won primarily due to his role being decreased.10 year contracts for a head coach are unheard of in today's NFL.
But I wouldn't put it past Jones to break that mold.
The Bears would be a good fit, Fox is a guy who lost a SB because his QB choked and then got canned by a team that was too stupid to know what they had. He's basically the white Lovie Smith.Report: John Fox declines to interview with Jets

John Fox won’t be returning to New York.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the former Broncos coach already has declined to interview with the Jets. Which means either that Fox has no interest in joining one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the league or that he has something else lined up.
Bet on the latter. Plenty of business gets done with winks, nods, and conversations that never happened. One of those conversations that never happened may have happened between Fox and another team that currently is looking for a head coach.
Like maybe the Bears.
Jerry is the Google of football. He wants all of his employees to be extremely comfortable.10 year contracts for a head coach are unheard of in today's NFL.
