"I'm going to be diplomatic (on why she's so popular)... it's racism." :doh
Players like Lisa Leslie, Sheryl Swoops, and Cheryl Miller have all been propped up as faces of women's basketball at one point or another. And deservedly so. But they were easy to accept because they are black. People like this old cow are just pissed that finally a white girl has arrived as one of, if not the best players, and is getting a lot of hype. And then try to pass it off as racism from white people? Get the fuck outta here.

There have also been elite white players who were arguably the best in the league at any given time like Taurasi and Stewart, and could've easily been hyped up the same way if white people were just waiting for some great white hope situation, but they weren't.

None of it makes sense.

Thunder vs Bucks for the NBA Cup on Tuesday night.

I definitely want to give props to the Rockets. I love the way they compete. They just need a little more experience to be true contenders but I think they're already cementing themselves as a team that will be in the top 4 in the West over the next few seasons.

That being said, last night was payback for them grabbing the belt last time around. Everyone knows when your parents are whooping your ass, you never grab the belt.

So the other night the Hornets and Bulls set a record by combining for 75 missed three-pointers in one game.

Can you imagine how brutal that would be to watch?

The NBA is unwatchable trash, and has been for awhile.

They wanted to make the NBA more exciting and boost scoring back in the day by instituting the 3 point line? Well, make it watchable again by taking it back out.

I don't care if final scores are 85-80. Bring back basketball fundamentals.

I don't think the problem is 3 pointers. I think it's the idiots that forget that for 3 pointers to make sense you have to shoot at least about 35% at it. It's a player/coaching/culture problem not a rules problem. It's an exciting play when Curry shoots them, not so much when it's Westbrook.

They shoot so many threes because the analytics say it's the smart thing to do, but it's obviously come at the expense of offensive creativity.

I floated the idea that the NBA probably needs to make drastic rule changes similar to what MLB did after analytics drained practically all the fun and excitement out of their game. Similar to your suggestion, I say remove the 3-pt line for stretches of the game. Take away the three pointer until around the 4 minute mark of each quarter.

You know what makes it worse? That he could actually improve durability and his overall health but he's an immature jackass who doesn't take training or nutrition seriously as a professional athlete should.

I mean, the dude is known to slam 15-plus beers every chance he gets, so how exactly is he going to ever get and stay in shape?

You would drink that much too if you had to play for Dallas.
