One scene isn't going to cost him an Oscar. Every film has a blunder somewhere.Well, he should have worked around a baby doll. It was a terrible misstep and it might cost him an Oscar.

We will see. I hope it doesn't. It's a damn good movie. Way better than Birdman which is supposedly it's best competitor it seems. One scene isn't going to cost him an Oscar. Every film has a blunder somewhere.
Regular Steve Spielberg up in here.In that case it shows that Eastwood may not be cut out for directing. You can film around shit like that if you have to. He made it very obvious it was a fake baby in the shots he took.
Him losing won't prove anything. He didn't win the Golden Globe for it and nobody brought up a fake baby being the reason. We will see. I hope it doesn't. It's a damn good movie. Way better than Birdman which is supposedly it's best competitor it seems.
And they won't if he loses the Oscar for it.Him losing won't prove anything. He didn't win the Golden Globe for it and nobody brought up a fake baby being the reason.
Have you watched the other nominated films? America loves them all.American Sniper won't win. IT's not the type of movie that crowd would celebrate. Even though most of America is loving it.
Box office says they love sniper more.Have you watched the other nominated films? America loves them all.
Birdman has been played on less than a 1000 theaters, AS has been everywhere. You really can't compare them by those numbers. If we did, the Transformers movies would be winning Oscars.Box office says they love sniper more.
It's a public thing not an award issue. Peers vote for the awards notwithstanding what the public goes to see. I'm not debating what is critically best rather box office results.Birdman has been played on less than a 1000 theaters, AS has been everywhere. You really can't compare them by those numbers. The only gauge I know is Rotten Tomatoes and it shows Birdman is much more popular.
Ya, that's not what we're talking about. Box office doesn't equal popularity. Lots of movies make tons of money and suck. ie: Transformers moviesIt's a public thing not an award issue. Can't you read anything with objectivity? You don't have to defend anything as being best. I only said the public has made Sniper the more popular of the two by virtue of the box office. That's not an opinion It's just a matter of the outcome.Ya, that's not what we're talking about. Box office doesn't equal popularity. Not saying AS sucks, but claiming it's the best movie and most popular because it drew a lot of money is dumb. Box office has just as much to do with marketing and how many theaters is plays in as it does the movie itself.
It's an outcome based on stupid reasoning, IMO.Can't you read anything with objectivity? You don't have to defend anything as being best. I only said the public has made Sniper the more popular of the two by virtue of the box office. That's not an opinion It's just a matter of the outcome.
I don't understand you. I have no more to say on the matter. It's an outcome based on stupid reasoning, IMO.
Don't be obnoxious Deuce. I didn't say it was more deserving that the others. I merely said that it wouldn't win regardless. That is not the type of movie the crowd that votes for the awards would approve of. I really don't thin Eastwood and those involved care anyway. It is popular with Americans everywhere which in the grand scheme is more important to them because it validates them making it. And don't give me Hurt Locker as a similar film because it wasn't really. and No where near as viable in the box office.Ya, that's not what we're talking about. Box office doesn't equal popularity. Cabin in the Woods was excellent...and he suckled at the teet of Abrams, so I am excited for him to take it over.http://www.theverge.com/2015/3/2/8135281/spider-man-director-drew-goddard-sinister-six
Latino-Review reports that Marvel has tapped Drew Goddard to write and direct the upcoming Spider-Man film, which will hit theaters in 2017. Goddard, who was originally onboard to direct the standalone Sinister Six spinoff, will be involved in making Spider-Man fit to join the Avengers, along with building up his conflict with the Sinister Six in the long run.
Goddard, in addition to his aborted credit in Sony's Spider universe, co-wrote his directorial debut Cabin in the Woods with current Marvel heavyweight Joss Whedon, so him being pulled into the project makes sense. A source tells Latino-Review that the new series will be titled The Spectacular Spider-Man — fitting since it draws its name from the yet another long-running Spider-Man book. The first film of the franchise will reportedly involve Spider-Man fighting Iron Man as an "audition" for his eventual spot on the Avengers roster. Meanwhile, the seeds for an eventual Sinister Six film will be set, with the plan to potentially spin them off in the future.
Neither Marvel nor Sony have commented on the news.
Because RDJ is Marvel's golden goose. They will force him into everything they can.Cabin in the Woods was excellent...and he suckled at the teet of Abrams, so I am excited for him to take it over.
I don't know why Iron Man needs to be in this though...that is the rumor. I am tired of Iron Man.
I am rooting for Captain America to kick his ass in Civil War.Because RDJ is Marvel's golden goose. They will force him into everything they can.
