Also, I was bored so I watched "Fast X" (on Peacock)... that move didn't just break the laws of physics, it obliterated them. I'm talkin legit cartoon level action. The only thing that made it watchable was Jason Mamoa's performance. :lol

Oh, and after enduring 2 hours and 20 minutes of ridiculousness, it ends on a cliffhanger. :angry

Yes, there's going to be a pt. 2, and with Dewayne Johnson no less. :picard
Exactly how I felt. Momoa the maniac made it tolerable.

Earlier today I took a trip down memory lane and watched that old 80s comedy Private Resort on Tubi. It's one of Johnny Depp's earlier movies.

It doesn't hold up that well over time. I chuckled a few times and it held my interest. But more than anything I appreciated the random & pointless moments where women's breasts were exposed.

It was almost an unwritten rule that comedies from that era and genre worked in as much nudity as possible. Regardless of it actually adding anything to the plot.

That's the American cinema experience I know and love.

Those were the days when the tit scene was pretty much the make it or break it with every teen comedy.

This one was pretty forgettable, I think I might have watched it last when it came out on VHS or Cinemax.

I strongly recommend Emily The Criminal.

It is on Netflix.

The movie itself is well crafted with a good strong soundtrack, which should be an expectation for any good movie.

And it has Aubrey Plaza in it.

Watched Everything Everywhere All at Once last night. It was insane, fun and very weird. Not sure how it won awards as those type of movies don’t usually do well. It was enjoyable enough but was one of those that my wife was like “this is stupid, I’m taking a nap”

I had the same reaction as your wife, except it annoyed me to the point I was not able to take a nap.

My daughter and I just watched ET. That movie has held the test of time, I can tell you that.

I think it's pretty overrated.
I was hitting the age when that movie came out where I thought it was a little gay.

It really had no effect on me because I was a hormone-infused freak dork at the time.

I do recall that little hawt little Iowa girl I took to see that in Ames then it first came out (yeah my mom drove us, shut the fuck up bitch).

No, I did not score. I did get a little bitsa feelies of some tittah.
