@boozeman Don't you agree that child sex trafficking is the most horrific crime imaginable and anything that exposes and thus helps end that problem is a good thing?

I don't see why political party is relevant at all here... yet it seems to be. The Guardian and others admitted there's nothing about Q Anon in the movie. So why are they attacking it? It doesn't make sense.

I hate these people so fucking much. This is a very important movie about a very important topic. It is very well done and portrays the issue very well. And, these fuckwads still try to discredit it. Why? Could it be because it brings to light the evil of pedophiles?

It's disgusting. That movie made me both mad and sad at the same time. But, it's a very important topic that needs to be talked about more often. These people are fucking sick and need to be stopped.

It's either this or their failure at the border that they are trying to protect. The more and more I think about this the more and more it pisses me the fuck off. There is absolutely nothing political about this movie. NOTHING. Yet, they have turned it political. WHY??

Except it's not a failure. It's happening exactly the way they want it to happen, for whatever reason.

It's hard to find any logic in any of their reasoning. It just makes no sense. And maybe that's the point.

Of course trafficking is a horrific crime.

But when a story comes in part from a movement (or at least the "star") that is associated with the whole ridiculous Adrenochrome horseshit just illegitimates the message. That is bad judgment.

The star believing anything associated with Q-Anon? Yeah, that makes it political.

Make a better casting choice.

God damn, Booze. Who gives a shit about the actor's political beliefs? Who gives one shit? The message is the point, but I guess you, like the liberal ass media, will find some reason to defend this horrifying issue. Be better, man.

Yep. If there's a movie about some awful problem, say nursing home abuse, but the main actress is a climate nutter, how does that invalidate the message of the movie? It doesn't.

Hell, that pretty much is the case about 90% of Hollywood anyway. :lol

I'm thinking booze was just cranky when he wrote those.

I would hope so. Because that is the partisan rhetoric being pushed right now, and it is disgusting. But, I guess defending pedos and an open border is more important than saving kids from being raped daily.

Scientology is waaaay nuttier than Q-Anon, yet Cruise's films rake in millions.
Dude, Cruise is one of them. He gets immunity.

I dunno about that. He's not an outspoken Lefty, and libs hated Top Gun Maverick because it was so patriotic. He might be one of us (save for the secret gayness).

He is still Hollywood. There are only a few that have been ostracized like James Wood and Rob Schneider.

Speaking of Cruise, they've been running promos of him doing the next Mission Impossible and he literally rides a motorcycle off a ramp before about a million foot cliff where I guess he parachutes down. So he really does that? I know he does crazy stunts, but this looks insane. How is he not dead yet? Or is it CGI?

True story.

Case in point, I think Robert Di Nero is a political idiot, but I still love his movies.
Same with my avatar.
