"traditionalists" should welcome games being played in a timely manner, like it was in the 50s and 60s
You're calling us traditionalists and then saying the game should be like it was 70 years ago. Sure, Jan.

It's not even about tradition for me. It's a dumb rule change that makes the game way too frenetic. It's borderline unwatchable.

Close. I'm calling you a phony traditionalist. Back in the day, games were routinely completed in less than three hours and batters stayed in the box. You should welcome a return to those days.

That's because TV coverage and replays didn't extend the game back then.

You can limit those things without making the game ADHD.

I'm watching Braves-Nationals now on Bally Sports Southeast and notice they're not showing the pitch clock.

Disregard. I just noticed that it's located inside the "bases" icon on their graphics.

The Braves are cruising up 5-0 in the 4th inning.

The Nationals look like a team destined for 110 losses.

I would have fessed up to calling him a bitch and let him sucker punch me.

Then 6 months later I'd be walking out of court like....

Exactly. I know it isn't easy to hear you suck or whatever, but that's part of the tradeoff as an athlete. I don't understand guys that get worked up over it. It's sports, it's not real.

The Twins are now 2-0 with two shutouts.

On pace to go 162-0 and out score their opponents 324-0.

The Rangers as well are on a pace for 162-0 and will score 2,187 runs for the season.

Yeah, I'd say 27 runs in the first two games is not shabby.
