Angel Hernandez has been consistently one of the worst umpires of all time. Complete garbage.

Unions suck. It's the only explanation I can think of for why completely garbage officials always keep their jobs for years.

Calls like those are why I'm 100% in favor of computerized officiating whenever possible, including balls and strikes.

Agreed. I hate the idea of computerized umping. There is something to be said for having the human element in calling a game.

But... Having said that, they absolutely NEED to fix how they evaluate their umps. A blown call once in a while is just part of the game. But this shit we've been seeing with a handful of umps, Hernandez in particular is out of hand. They need to fix that shit.
