God I hate Jerry. (Breaking news.) Acting like he's taking such a big risk by hiring a first time coach when we all know he's just doing it because he's a born-again cheapskate and BS won't stand up to him.

The Jones family is crying at the PC?!!!!
Not Stephen, he's the only one upbeat at all.

And we know that's because this hire saved millions on his inheritance.

:lol

I was just making fun of the possibility that Jerry would cry again like he when he hired Wade and said "We had to get this right" as if him showing emotion was going to somehow convince us that it was a better hire than it was.

And wouldn't you know it, the asshole did it again.

Yeah, I'm not even the slightest bit interested in keeping up with the Cowboys for however long this shit lasts.

No thanks.

I hate these fucks so much. Jerry explaining to us rubes how the cap works and why they can't sign free agents. He has no idea this isn't 1999 and we fans have access to all this information on every team now. We know you could spend more but you just don't want to.

Stephen threw out some platitudes about doing something more in FA, that'll be a true litmus test.

If they spend a little bit of money I might give them some sort of credit, but if I had to guess it'll almost certainly be the same old "efficient" horse shit.

At least Prime would have been trying to do something different. Maybe still wrong, but not the insanity of the same ole same ole. The Prime thing was either all bullshit from the start to get ESPN heads talking or he just wasn't going to come here and cede all control to the inbreds and have the status quo.
Hiring Primetime would have been a disaster, but it would have at least taken balls. It would have at least been interesting. That is not something the Jones are capable of. They want weak bullshit they can control.

Jerruh: i always wanted to be part of pro ball…..I used to take a ping pong ball in my backyard and played a whole World Series. That’s dreaming, but necessary dreaming to not miss the train when it comes by.

Jerruh: I’m dreaming of playing a game like those Eagles did last night. I’ve never stopped dreaming. I want that. ~heavy, lamenting breath~

Jerruh: I’m not aware of a clock. Where’s the clock. If I screwed around with clocks, I wouldn’t be up here. One of the fun things about today is that you can start a new clock. I’m sitting here because I know how to deal with reality….never occurred to me that there was a clock. When I bought the Cowboys, there apparently was a clock. Supposedly there’s a clock on when to sign Dak, that I was too late. Well, Dak had something to do with that. Go stand up, Dak, and tell em about it. ~Laughter~

It's bullshit until proven otherwise.

Last year at this time according to Jerry we were "all in" now.

A month later he was gaslighting us that "all in" doesn't mean "all in" like everyone thinks it does, but rather it means doing absolutely nothing.

So I'll believe anything changes when I see it.

Schottenheimer says football isn't about Xs and Os, but "people".

Suuuuuuure. That'll win.
