Maybe Jerry could pay our next head coach on a game by game basis. Hard to believe someone worth 10 billion gazillion dollars could be so cheap with coaches and free agents.

I think what it comes down to is Jerry and family don't want anyone getting any credit besides them. They'd rather lose with someone in the cowboy family doing the coaching, than some hotshot come in and steal the limelight. Jones et al are the only "geniuses" allowed. And when someone in their "family" of coaches does well, Jerry can swoop in and talk about how they drafted or found this person way back in the day, and Jerry is a genius blah blah blah.

And I'll never have enough money to make sure great grandkids are wealthy. But I honestly think that's what Jerry is about these days, even though he will never admit to being cheap. Sure, all that's missing for coaches to win a super bowl is more money. They just haven't been properly motivated. I wish he'd thought of this sooner we'd be swimming in championships.

It wouldn't shock me if contract details were the holdup, as per usual. It might be why they've turned to Schottenheimer in the first place if Moore balked at their offer.

That's what's I've been trying to say since the beginning.

In my opinion, Deion is the best option from that terrible list of candidates because of how things would be structured under him and his relationship with Jerry.

It's the situation that has the best chance to succeed.
