Did you know that there's a species of jellyfish called the Turritopsis dohrnii, commonly known as the "immortal jellyfish"? This fascinating creature has the ability to revert back to its juvenile polyp stage after reaching maturity, essentially allowing it to bypass death from old age. Here's how it works:

When the jellyfish encounters stress or injury, it can transform its cells back into a younger state, essentially reversing its life cycle.
This process is called transdifferentiation, where one type of cell directly transforms into another type, without going through an intermediate stem-cell state.

This phenomenon has caught the attention of scientists worldwide, not only for its biological uniqueness but also for potential medical implications, like understanding cellular rejuvenation. However, despite its nickname, the jellyfish isn't truly immortal; it can still die due to predation, disease, or other external factors.
I heard that somewhere, booze. :unsure

My hope is that because he's so cheap that he and the rest of the Jones goofs decide to sell the team because getting a billion for the Cowboys would sure go a long way into improving your financial situation.

I know Jerry would never sell it, but I'm hoping Stephen will at least open to it since he's really only in this for the money anyway.

Once Jerry dies, I'm assuming Stephen, Jerry Jr, Charlotte and Gene would all have to be open to it. There's a lot of moving parts there.

I'm assuming also that any of them including Jerry would have to be blown away by an offer to buy, like double the value or something.

Jerry probably wouldn't sell no matter what because it's not just the money it's also his sandbox. But the rest of them? Maybe.

Yeah, I don't think Stephen has the love for it that Jerry goes. Now the other kids might love the celebrity of owning the Cowboys. But this also goes from one man owning the team to suddenly multiple children owning the team. I doubt that Jerry gives the team to just Stephen or something like that. Anyway, who knows. Hopefully it's not that long away that we can find some of this out.

Well, idiot, that's what happens when you let coaches get to their last year without figuring out whether they are staying or not.
Would it shock anyone if Jerry turns back to McCarthy for the job if McCarthy doesn't get the Bears gig or whoever else he is interviewing with? I fully believe Jerry thought McCarthy would come back under whatever conditions he put in place.

Yes it would shock me because it would make Jerry look bad. If he hires anyone else he can always pretend that this was the plan all along.

Jerry can spin shit into gold. He will just spin it as they both always wanted to be together, they just needed to see what else was out there before realizing they had something special. Or some bullshit like that.

In reality, Jerry is just a shitty person. I'm just saying it wouldn't shock me. But if I was a betting man I still have this bad gut feeling that Zimmer is the head coach next year with Witten on the staff.

I wouldn't be shocked because this organization is the epitome of dysfunctional, but it'd be surprising.

I was kinda thinking that, actually.

But yeah I would be a little shocked. He'd have to admit he was wrong.

Oh, I don't ever see Jerry selling it no matter what they offer him.

So if it happens at all, it would have to be after he's gone.
