This is true but they're probably not going to look at any candidates anyone else wants anyway, other than Moore.
Right, the only coach off the market is Vrabel (my choice) and Jerry wouldn't hire him anyway.

We'll get the Linval Joseph or Jordan Phillips of coaches and like it.

Not according to a lot of guys here. They think he’s done a good job.
Me personally, I think Rodgers made his offensive system look way better than it actually was. The only thing I’ve never been able to figure out is why he’s never had the two backs in his system in Dallas like he ran with the Packers.

McCarthy is the most successful (in Dallas) coach we've had since Switzer. He's a good coach and he did a good job given the circumstances. We can and probably will do a lot worse.

Ernie is stirring up shit with secret sources about Cowboys and Kellen Moore.

As if you need sources to figure that out.

Maybe Jerry was certain he could bully Mike into a cheap deal by keeping him off the market for a week, but Mike is Jerry's first coach in this situation who actually has other options and has some leverage.

My theory of the case is that Jerry always intended to let Mike go after this year -- the do-nothing 2024 offseason and the expiring contract matched up too well -- but had second thoughts lately that Mike was a good coach and employee, etc. And now Mike isn't having it, at least not at Jerry's lowball price.

I believe that is a factor.

I don't know how Jordan could possibly know that.
im not saying that he definitely knows but i think it could be possible that he has heard more than whats been said in print or on air.

And for the record, I'd appreciate bringing Zimmer back as DC and I think if he comes back we'll be in line to have a very solid defense.

Obviously it's not make or break but I think we could do much worse.

These idiots really sat on their hands for a week as teams did interviews all across the league, unreal.

The coaches in higher demand would want too much money. Seems to be his line of reasoning. What other reason would there be to wait?

I don't doubt that Belichick would be interested in this job. I have major doubts that Jerry would pay the $15+ million that Bill was getting at New England.
